Sherratt, Susan Brink
Beta Beta Chapter member Susan Brink Sherratt is a longtime volunteer with Alpha Phi, serving both the Fraternity and the Foundation in numerous roles since the 1970s.

Susan attended Michigan State University, where she was initiated into Beta Beta Chapter in 1977 and subsequently served as treasurer of the chapter and vice president of the Michigan State Panhellenic. After her graduation in 1980, her first job was with Alpha Phi as one of four Field Representatives (now called Educational Leadership Consultants) charged with visiting chapters across the country. Even as she began her career in advertising, she continued to volunteer for the Fraternity. Some of her many roles included District Governor, MAP Administrator, and Assistant to the Vice President of Program Development.

Susan served on the Alpha Phi Foundation Board of Directors for nine years, including four as its chair. During this time, she established a scholarship in honor of the 75th anniversary of Beta Beta Chapter and encouraged other chapters to mark anniversaries in the same way. When Susan retired from the Board in June 2004, Renee Smith Zimmerman Zainer (Beta Epsilon-Arizona) started the Susan Brink Sherratt Leadership Fund  to honor Susan for her notable leadership, support, and service. Susan continues to shape the future of Alpha Phi as a member of the 2020–2022 Committee on Leadership, which helps nominate the women who will serve on the International Executive Board.

In 2014, Susan was an inaugural recipient of the Constellation Award for her lifetime of volunteer service to the Fraternity.
