Original Chapel Bell Removed

From collection Beta Gamma Chapter Timeline

In 1927, the chapel bell is removed from the tower of Old Main, the oldest building at the University of Colorado. The bell had rung on campus since the University's founding in 1877, but after the bell was badly damaged, it was replaced with a near-exact replica.
