In 1891, the Feronian Literary Society was the first woman’s society established at Michigan State University. The group later became Beta Beta Chapter of Alpha Phi Fraternity in 1922.
This gold pin is in the shape of a crescent with the word "Feronian" in blue enamel and a cursive letter "F" with eight inlaid pearls.
