Zainer, Renee Zimmerman Smith

Executive Director Renee Zimmerman Smith Zainer is a member of Beta Epsilon Chapter with a long history of service to Alpha Phi.

Renee served as Beta Epsilon Chapter President during the 1987-1988 academic year, and prior to that she was the chapter’s Fraternity Educator (1986-1987). She was the Director of Membership for the Fraternity from 2011-2017 and was elected International President of Alpha Phi in 2018. In May 2019, Renee became the Executive Director of Alpha Phi.

Prior to her service to the Fraternity as the Executive Director, Renee also supported Alpha Phis on the local level. She established the Susan Brink Sherratt Leadership Fund to honor Susan (Beta Beta-Michigan State) and her notable leadership, support, and service to Alpha Phi. Renee also served as an adviser to Beta Gamma Chapter, assisting with that chapter’s reestablishment in 1990 and the purchase of a new facility in 2008.
