Rigg, Nelle Carroll
Nelle Carroll Rigg was born on August 6, 1910, and died on October 11, 2009, at the age of 99. She lived most of her life in Oklahoma, attending the Oklahoma College for Women in Chickasha, Oklahoma, and the University of Oklahoma, where she became a member of Phi Chapter.

Nelle was a driving force for the Oklahoma Alpha Phi House Association, serving in a number of roles, including president. She led a capital campaign to raise $250,000 for a new Phi Chapter house, negotiated the sale of property for the house, and coordinated with construction and architecture professionals to ensure the swift completion of the house.

In her personal life, Nelle was an avid traveler, known for taking cruises,  and devoted to her family. Nelle was a lifetime deaconess of First Christian Church in Oklahoma City. She was able to share her faith with her community and particularly enjoyed calling on seniors at local nursing homes.

Nelle’s commitment to Phi Chapter throughout her life is admirable.
