For the first year after the chapter's installation, Beta Tau Chapter members lived in a lodge while they sought a more permanent residence. They found an ideal house at 908 E. Third Street. Constructed out of Indiana limestone and redwood, the house was conveniently located on the edge of the Indiana University campus.
