From collection Epsilon Beta Chapter Timeline
Members of the Indianapolis, Indiana Alumnae Chapter take part in war work in many different capacities. Florence Kirk Philpott serves as the Office of Civilian Defence Chairman for women's war work in Washington Township, Marion County, Indiana. Eunice Roper Carter holds a staff executive position with the American Cross, while other members knit or sew and teach nutrition classes for the Red Cross, and perform at the United Service Office headquarters.
