This article from the June 1926 issue of the Quarterly describes history of the local sorority Delta Delta.
The Beginning: Delta Delta Local Sorority
The first Greek-letter organization at the University of Arizona was founded in 1900 and affiliated with a national group in 1915. The next few years saw a boom in new local fraternities and sororities, including Delta Delta Local Sorority. Organized in April 1922, this group of young women soon set their sights on joining Alpha Phi. They moved into a small house and excelled in academics and campus activities.
