Red Cross Blood Donations
Alpha Phi International Fraternity selected cardiac aid as its national philanthropy in 1946, but Beta Gamma Chapter has been supporting heart health since before that. During World War II, the Red Cross Blood Bank visited Boulder, Colorado, once every one to two months. Chapter members regularly donated blood and plasma as part of their war efforts.
